ABOUT
A Food & Wine Best New Chef. A Top Chef Season 7 contestant. An AAA Four Diamond restaurateur. Together, Andrea and Frank Randazzo bring the highest concentration of culinary honors in the South Florida catering market to every Creative Tastes event.
A TRUE PARTNERSHIP
Creative Tastes is a family-owned business built on a partnership that began in a New York City kitchen. Executive Chefs Frank Randazzo and Andrea Curto-Randazzo met at Tribeca Grill, married, and moved south — opening their much-anticipated restaurant, Talula, on South Beach in 2003 to local and national acclaim (Miami New Times “Best New Restaurant,” AAA Four-Diamond Rating, New York Times “The Place to Be Now”). Selling Talula in 2010 allowed them to dedicate themselves fully to Creative Tastes — where the same restaurant-caliber cuisine and service now defines every event they produce. With numerous individual awards between them and hundreds of extraordinary events behind them, they still lead every Creative Tastes event and menu with the same standard that defined their earlier careers: cuisine and hospitality worth remembering.
CO-OWNER & CULINARY DIRECTOR
Executive Chef Andrea Curto-Randazzo is a Culinary Institute of America graduate whose accomplishments include being named Food & Wine’s Best New Chef in 2000, gracing the front cover of Food & Wine magazine, competing on Season 7 of Bravo’s Emmy-winning television series, Top Chef, and earning praise from The New York Times, Bon Appétit Magazine, Gourmet Magazine, and the James Beard Foundation. Her career has included training at New York’s celebrated Tribeca Grill and Aja before coming to Miami to lead The Heights, The National Hotel, and Wish at The Hotel on Miami Beach as Executive Chef. Rooted in her Italian heritage and grandmother’s kitchen, Andrea’s culinary voice is defined by seasonal, ingredient-forward cuisine that has made her one of South Florida’s most decorated and recognizable chefs.
CO-OWNER & PRESIDENT
An elite chef, restaurateur, and entrepreneur, Frank Randazzo has built his reputation launching and managing some of South Florida’s most successful hospitality establishments. Frank began his culinary career at 16 in a Staten Island fine-dining kitchen, went on to earn his degree from Johnson & Wales University, and trained at some of New York’s most celebrated restaurants including Aquavit, Arizona 206, and Tribeca Grill — where he met Andrea. He later moved to Florida as Executive Chef of The Heights in Coral Gables, earning South Florida Magazine’s “Best of the Brightest”, Miami New Times’ “Best New Restaurant” honors, and an Exceptional Rating from The Miami Herald. At The Gaucho Room at Loews Miami Beach, he led the restaurant to a Mobil Four-Star rating, AAA Four Diamond status, the title of “Best Steak House” from Miami New Times, and was invited to cook as a “Rising Star” Chef for the James Beard Foundation.
