Italian raised Andrea Curto-Randazzo claims her grandmother was not only the “best cook ever”, but a direct influence on her decision to pursue the culinary arts. Her strong Italian heritage coupled with her affinity for seasonal, fresh foods has made her a successful chef, restaurateur and television personality.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Andrea went on to train at New York City’s Tribeca Grill and Aja. Andrea returned to Miami to train at The Height, become Executive Chef of Wish at The Hotel on Miami Beach and with husband Frank, open Talula on South Beach. Andrea and Frank currently own and operate Creative Tastes, a Miami-based full-service catering and event production company and Randazzo Management, a hospitality and restaurant management consulting firm.
Andrea’s forward-thinking approach has earned her a great deal of accolades including gracing the front cover of Food & Wine magazine, being named Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2000, praise from The New York Times, Bon Appetit, Gourmet and the James Beard Association. Andrea competed in season 7 of Bravo’s Emmy award-winning television series Top Chef.
